ScribeMedia.com homepage redesign
Creating a landing experience that effectively communicates what services are offered.
Scribe Media is a company specializing in ghostwriting, publishing. coaching, and marketing.
At the time, Scribe’s homepage felt more like a landing page template often associated with masterclass courses. Our users were mostly first-time authors who were nervous about an expensive investment and needed to have confidence in our services before they would schedule a consultation.
Through sales team surveys, we found that users were spending time on our site without ever knowing exactly what Scribe Media did, and would often show up to sales consultations asking about what service Scribe offered.
PART 1
Designing a more effective hero
Since users were landing on the homepage confused, we started the page with strong messaging that described precisely what Scribe does and who its services are for: Professionals looking to Write, Publish, and Market a book.
PART 2
DESCRIBING OUR SERVICES THROUGH OUR SUCCESSES
Each content block features a Service Category (Publishing, Writing, Marketing, or Coaching) along with an author who used one of the services in those categories.
The end results helped our users identify which services were right for them while getting a peak into how the service worked in for a client with similar needs.
PART 3
Bold links to compare services
Our service/pricing comparison page was one of the most widely used pages on our site (both by users and the sales team) — a perfect endcap for users who wanted more info.
